ENFINIA™ Plasmid DNA Synthesis Process
How Plasmid DNA is synthesized
Each ENFINIA™ Plasmid is built from ENFINIA™ Linear DNA, produced with Elegen's patented cell-free cloning technology. The DNA fragments are assembled into standard vectors using the Type IIS restriction enzyme PaqCI.
Most plasmids are successfully synthesized in a single production round, but some may require a second attempt. If the full yield is not achieved initially, a second synthesis attempt will be performed. Shipments are held until both attempts are complete and their combined yield has been evaluated.
If a plasmid cannot be produced after two attempts, it will be deemed infeasible and you will not be charged.
