Removing Adapter Sequences From ENFINIA™ Linear DNA

If your downstream application requires removal of the 5′ and 3′ adapters from ENFINIA™ Linear DNA, you can use one of the methods below. For more information on using linear DNA with adapters in different applications, see this article.

Adapter removal methods:

• PCR with gene-specific primers: Amplifies the gene of interest without adapters.
• Restriction enzyme digest: If restriction sites are present at both ends of the gene, adapters can be removed by digest.
• Choose the method that best fits your downstream application.
