ENFINIA™ Plasmid DNA Quality Control

As part of our quality control (QC) process, we confirm the yield, sequence identify, and sequence quality of ENFINIA™ Plasmid DNA. 

• Yield measurement: 
  • Mini-prep DNA: Thermo Fisher Scientific Quant-iT dsDNA Broad Range Assay Kit (Q33130)
  • Midi-prep / Maxi-prep: Nanodrop
• Sequence identity: The entire insert and plasmid backbone sequence is confirmed using long-read NGS. 
• Sequence quality: Plasmid preparations must pass several internal QC thresholds to ensure minimal truncations, as determined by long-read NGS.

Limitations: Current sequencing method cannot provide high-confidence measurements of: 

• G/C homopolymers longer than 8 bp
• A/T homopolymers longer than 12 bp 

Additional note: ENFINIA™ Plasmid DNA is not screened for endotoxins.
