Definitions of ENFINIA™ DNA Sequence Acceptance Criteria
To evaluate whether a sequence is suitable for synthesis, we assess several sequence characteristics:
-
Overall GC content: The GC content across the entire sequence.
-
100 bp GC content: The minimum and maximum GC content in any 100 bp window along the sequence.
-
Local GC variation: Within each 200 bp window, we evaluate smaller 20 bp sub-windows and measure how much their GC content deviates from the average GC content of that 200 bp window.
-
Repeats: Regions of identical sequence that are ≥ 10 bp, either occurring contiguously (back-to-back) or repeated at different positions within the sequence.
